yes, kids make wish lists but who gets those wish lists, the parents. it’s best to ask the parents what the child wants. you don’t know what the parents have already bought the child or told others to get the child. it would prevent duplicate gifts.
ask the parents, they usually know what the children want and it is a surprise for the children…………

my grandparents get me money so I can choose whatever I want sometimes I save it but usually I buy something w/ it then write them a nice letter about how I love it so much
